We are planning on growing our own fruit and veg here in our school grounds. We will be updating this page with news and information as it happens this Spring. also check out our space at the Year of Food and Farming website here.

UPDATE: All the funding for this project is now in place and everything is now ordered. Many thanks to all the parents, businesses, organisations and others who have helped and contributed to this project. Construction begins in March with everything in place by around Easter time. This project will be a great way to really find out what goes into producing our food.
Update on the 7th March: The construction work will be finished by Easter with the greenhouse being installed soon after. Pictures will be posted here.

I think the idea was a great one… It would be nice if we can get the local people to help too..

what a great idea we have school childen comeing in to see us at the allotment sometimes and they dont no were the peas come from they all seam to think that they come in tins all the time so good on you what better way to teach the kids were the food comes from
