Sourcing stock and other items from environmentally sustainable sources and buying fair trade goods is part of becoming an Eco School. This project is about developing and encouraging the use of a sourcing policy for the school. We have plans for activities over Fair Trade Fortnight. Check back for details.
On Friday 27th June 2008 there was a fair trade event arranged by members of the school council (several of whom are Action Team members). They went to Birmingham to do a presentation for Active Schools award on the 20th June and go to the finals in London next year. We will report on this event when it has happened.
