This is where we will put a list of what we have done so far, until we update here a list of past achievements can be found here.

The most recent update is to report that the Action team have now had their fourth, fifth and sixth meetings with a seventh one due to happen soon. Progress is going well in working our way towards the targets set in our 2006 Action Plan and this plan has now been updated and published on this blog. We have had our link Governor at the last two meetings and last meeting we had the waste education officer for Leicestershire County Council attending.

Latest update: We are now ready to apply for our first Green Flag.

On the 7th of May we were visited by the Eco Schools inspector and were informed that we had been awarded a Green Flag in mid May.

Work is continuing on our various projects. We had our last Eco Action Team meeting of the year on the 9th July. In September 2008 we will start work on the tree nursery and Energy projects as well as putting up Bird and Bat boxes and submitting various other bids and proposals. More on that in the Autumn of 2008.
